The Story

I found a pair of bar stools in an alley in my Glover Park neighborhood of D.C. First, I removed the seats. I joined the two stools together and spray-painted them “Chocolate Brown” by Ace in satin. I created the top and bottom shelves from my stock of pallet wood. I chose four pieces with nice character and the right width, sanded them with a belt sander and by hand, and finished them with three coats of Minwax water-based clear satin Polycrylic.
